About this winery
Raised by the Alves family, founder of Riberalves Group, AdegaMãe is born as a tribute from the men to the family’s matriarch, Manuela Alves. Production notes
Harvested manually in 18kg boxes. Total destemming. Pre-fermentative Maceration for 2 days. Temperature-controlled fermentation for 2 weeks. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Ruby coloured. A very complex aroma with mixed notes of wild blackberries and cherries, a hint of vegetable and resinous notes. In the mouth it is voluminous with very ripe tannins. It has a long, toasty finish.
