Bornos Bodegas & Viñedos is a shared concept that brings together all wineries, brands, vineyards and wine varieties of the association. It is a wine Group in which the various wineries that comprise it maintain their own history, personality, and positioning, while at the same time, being governed by a common philosophy and working methods, based on quality and innovation. The group brings together 6 wine regions, Rueda, Navarra, Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Toro and La Lombana, and 7 wineries, Palacio de Bornos, Señorío de Sarría, Bodegas Lleiroso, Dominio de Bornos, Martínez Corta, Orot and Guelbenzu. Guelbenzu’s story dates back to 1851, although it was in 2001 when it experienced a major boost with the inauguration of the new winery in Vierlas, on the border area between Navarra and Aragón. La Lombana, a 43-hectare wine estate situated at the foot of the Moncayo mountain in poor, gravelly soils, was planted by the Guelbenzu winery over 20 years ago.
