Champagnes André Jacquart cuvées are highly representative of the terroirs of Vertus and Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger. Vinification in oak barrel, long ageing period, low dosage and le lack of malolactic fermentation are the hallmarks of the House. Since 2004, the family domain is run by Marie Doyard, grand-daughter of André Jacquart and grand-grand-daughter of Maurice Doyard, co-founder of the Comité interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne. When Marie took over the family Estate, she brought with her new ideas and decided to implement 3 major changes. Long ageing period to bring higher gustative quality, vinification in oak barrel to gain complexity and low dosage to keep wine’s singularity. Champagne André Jacquart prides itself on its forward-looking ethos and pioneering spirit, focusing primarily on respect for the terroir and high quality. In line with its strategy, the estate is certified HVE 3 for its sustainable winegrowing practices in 2019. This terroir is particularly suited for the Chardonnay. In the Côte des Blancs, Chardonnay represents 97% of the grape’s varieties planted. Chalky soils confer minerality to the wines and produce elegant and worldwide famous Blanc de Blancs Champagnes. Champagnes are exclusively from the Terroir of Vertus and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
