Production notes

The vines are trained in the vaso system and undergo vigorous canopy management and green harvest. Vinification process begins where only the most perfectly mature bunches are selected and harvested into small boxes to prevent crushing. And taken to triage tables at the winery. The selected grapes are placed into small stainless-steel tank. Fermentation is finished in new French and American oak barrels where it completes the malolactic fermentation. Aging in barrels (20 months).

Tasting notes

Opaque red-black colour. Amalgam of minerals and unctuous super-ripe berries. Palate is deep, rich and ripe. Black fruits (cherries, plums) give way to hints of liquorice, molasses and a hint of cinnamon. Solid tannins and focused acidity with a long finish.

Garnacha 2017

A perfumed nose of blackberry, cherry, vanilla, gravy, clove and sweet spice. It’s full-bodied with velvety tannins. Rich, yet balanced, with a creamy texture, plenty of sweet fruit and a spicy, opulent finish. Drink or hold.
