About this winery

Bodegas Borsao origins go back to 1958, the year the Cooperative of Borja was founded. Some years later, the co-operatives of Pozuelo and Tabuenca joined Borja, adding their resources and vineyards. In 2001, the new company was called Bodegas Borsao. Experience, resources and means combined with the potential of 375 winegrowers and the vineyards of the 3 wine cellars, enabling the development of a new work philosophy that has given Borsao international recognition and prestige. Production notes

Suia, a complex white in limited edition Borsao from single-varietal Viognier of vineyards located on the terraces of the Huecha River. This single-varietal white grape has spent 9 months in French oak in contact with the lees. The wood gives it structure and the contact with the yeasts gives it a lot of unctuosity, fat and sweetness. Aged wine, in its passage through the bottle it continues its evolution process, gaining balance and complexity.

Tasting notes

Bright golden yellow color. Intense aromas and great complexity, floral memories, ripe fruits and spices. ln the mouth, flavors of candied fruit, apricot, quince, tangerine skin, ginger, and flavors of nutmeg. Silky and elegant, with volume, long aftertaste, rounded and balanced.
