Product notes
Clay-limestone soils and oceanic climate. 2024 is a late, relatively cool and humid vintage. Attention was given to the organically certified vineyard to prevent downy mildew damage on Merlots. After several cool spells, the harvest reached exceptional maturity, resulting in a highly aromatic wine.
Production notes
to use the vineyard indigenous yeasts. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is cooled to 18°C (malolactic process) then to 15°C (microorganisms’ control). The wine is fined with pea proteins, then tightly filtered to ensure perfect stability.
Tasting notes
2024 vintage displays a deep, almost garnet color. The nose is powerful, revealing herbal notes, blackcurrant leaf, dried tea and a fine graphite‑like minerality. The attack is supple thanks to silky tannins, and the wine then develops into a fresh, indulgent finish where red‑fruit aromas mingle with hints of liquorice.
