About this winery
The story begins at Château Paul Mas in Conas hamlet, in the splendid town of Pézenas, the city of famous playwright Molière. The estates then expanded to Montagnac, with Nicole vineyard and Mas des Tannes. Jean-Claude Mas’s great-grandfather, Auguste Mas, bought the first family vineyard in 1892, when he aquired 9 ha (22 acres) of vines in the Mas de Bicq, near the village of St Pons de Mauschiens.
