About this winery
Raised by the Alves family, founder of Riberalves Group, AdegaMãe is born as a tribute from the men to the family’s matriarch, Manuela Alves. At the same time, it serves as an inspiration to a place of birth and creation, in which the intention is to enhance the best grapes and to create the finest wines. Production notes
Pre-fermentation maceration for two days, fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature (22-25° C) for two weeks. Partial aged in used french oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Red ruby colour with considerable depth; subtle aromas, showing a complex aromatic profile through floral notes, fresh red fruit and hints of balsamic in harmonised and delicate balance; this wine offers good, well-balanced acidity against a delicate tannin structure; fair and smooth-bodied, with an intensely fruited finish.
