About this winery
Raised by the Alves family, founder of Riberalves Group, AdegaMãe is born as a tribute from the men to the family’s matriarch, Manuela Alves. At the same time, it serves as an inspiration to a place of birth and creation, in which the intention is to enhance the best grapes and to create the finest wines. Product notes
The vineyard is located at Ventosa, Torres Vedras in Portugal. Slightly sloping vineyard. Atlantic climate. Limestone soil.
Production notes
Total destemming, light pressing, cold decantation, fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature (15-16°C) for 15 days. In bâtonnage for 4 months.
Tasting notes
Citric yellow coloured wine. Lively aroma with tremendous intensity boasting floral notes of jasmine and white fruit. Fresh acidity on the palate, expertly balanced with a light body, but also showing a delicate unctuous quality provided by the bâtonnage. Lively and intense finish.
