Villa Marcello is located in Fontanelle, at the heart of the Marca Trevigiana. It belongs to one of the oldest Venetian families, who played a significant role in Venice’s cultural, political and social life since the times when the city was known as the Serenissima, over one thousand years ago. Product notes
Villa Marcello wines are the result of a balance between modern and traditional techniques. The silty and clayey soil, characterized by a complex structure and the choice of environmentally friendly growing, highlights the quality and the uniqueness of our production. The grapes produced in about 60 hectares of vineyard are originated from accurate clonal selections. Prosecco finds in this location the perfect setting to express its potential.
Production notes
Fermentation with crio-maceration at 5°C. Second fermentation in Metodo Italiano (‘cuve close’ ou Charmat Method). Ageing for over 60 days on selected yeasts at controlled temperature. Villa Marcello Prosecco Marcello del Majno offers aromas of white peach, floral with hints of raspberry and wild strawberry. Elegant, sapid, full bodied with a long-lasting finish.
