The 29-hectare estate has existed since 1902. It has belonged to the Dubost family for 80 years where 3 generations are rooted in Beaujolais. Production notes
Situation In Saône and Loire 20 kms south of Mâcon. Appellation of 660ha grouped around the famous Windmill class monument. Quite low altitude of about 240 meters. Age of vines from 40 to 65 years. Soils rich in mineral elements and manganese which characterize it. Culture in cup size, manual harvest in boxes. Long extraction to search for bay tannins, fermentation at low temperature for about 15 days. Ageing in vats and barrels.
Tasting notes
It expresses the most beautiful terroir of the region. It is a wine of character; it rivals Burgundy wines. Pairing with game: duck, partridge, pheasant, wild boar, deer and wild rabbit.
