The Guignard family is an historic family in the Graves region. Since 1996, the 3 Guignard brothers, Pascal, Dominique et Bruno took over the destiny of Guignard Vineyards. Product notes

Château de Carolle is situated at the south of Graves appellation, 50 km from Bordeaux. Gravely and clay soil overlooking the Brion valley.

Production notes

Maceration for 20 days. Aging half in cement tanks without sulphites and half in oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting notes

Purple colour. Nice concentration of red fruits aromas: blackberry, blackcurrant. Beautiful texture, spicy. Full body, moderate tannins. Well balanced. Serve with beef, lamb and cheeses.
