About this winery

The Guignard family is an historic family in the Graves region. Since 1996, the 3 Guignard brothers, Pascal, Dominique et Bruno took over the destiny of Guignard Vineyards. Production notes

In 1531, Jean de Pontac, owner of Château Haut-Brion, bought the property. It is in 1990 that the Guignard family acquire it in turn. The quality of the terroir makes it possible to produce quality wines. Clay-gravelly soils. Léognan-type terrace which dominates the Brion valley at an altitude of 70-113 meters. Pre-fermentation skin maceration. All operations protected from air. Aging on fine lees.

Tasting notes

Pale yellow color. Aromas of lychee, citrus and resin. On the palate, the intense notes of pear and white peach mingle with the flavors of pomelo and exotic fruits, giving a lot of freshness and liveliness.
