The Guignard family is an historic family in the Graves region. Since 1996, the 3 Guignard brothers, Pascal, Dominique et Bruno took over the destiny of Guignard Vineyards. Product notes
Château de Carolle is located on the highest ridges of the Graves appellation, 50 km south of Bordeaux. The soil is clayey-gravelly with Léognan-type terraces overlooking the Brion Valley at an altitude of 70 to 113 meters. The culture is traditional, with sustainable viticulture management to protect the vineyard. The average age of the vines is 25 years.
Production notes
Maceration for 18 days in thermo-regulated stainless-steel vats. Aging half in cement vats without sulfites, half in oak barrels for 9 months.
